His experience includes the successful leadership and opening of several notable properties, including Courtyard by Marriott Asheville Biltmore Village and AC Hotel by Marriott Biltmore Village, where he guided teams from concept to completion. This foundation has shaped his ability to translate strong operational excellence into highly personalized, guest-centered experiences—an approach that aligns seamlessly with the spirit of an independent boutique hotel like Elevation Lofts.
Throughout his career, Bogumił has been recognized for his ability to read a property’s character, understand its guests, and craft experiences that feel intentional, intuitive, and distinctly local. His leadership style emphasizes engaged teams, creativity, and individualized service—where no two stays feel the same and every guest feels genuinely known.
A Philosophy Rooted in Care and Culture
Bogumił’s approach to hospitality is deeply personal. A native of Poland and a graduate of the University of Wrocław, he was raised in a culture where welcoming a guest is considered a sacred act. A Polish saying he often reflects on captures this belief beautifully: “A guest in the house is God in the house.” This philosophy continues to guide his leadership today, shaping service that is intuitive, respectful, and grounded in genuine care.
Life in Asheville
Now proudly calling Asheville home, Bogumił enjoys an active life with his wife, Joanna, and their two children. Outside the hotel, he can often be found playing soccer in a local adult league, sailing with the Asheville Sailing Club, skiing in Colorado, or exploring hidden mountain trails with family and friends. A true enthusiast of local flavor, he also enjoys discovering Asheville’s restaurant scene, unique nightlife, and craft beer culture.
